Stop the possibility of taking backup in MySQL on Ubuntu

Hi Experts,

I have an application and it's has a user owned the production database but that user dose not granted any administrative rights. Is there any way that user can prevent making database backup logging to the database ? I don't wish to allow it to take any database dumps.

Please advise and thanks !

As long as the user can do select, they can extract, backup data.
