Hi guys

we have a sox controller who has given me strange request

He is after below

Webcam in his home recording everything he does 9-5 when he is working from home. Storage of that.
Logging of all printing including screenshot of what was printed, what work is done, websites, emails everything to be logged.

Is there a commercial software that can do all of below?

Believe its for legal requirements

That sounds exactly the opposite of "legal requirements". Yes sounds very illegal indeed.
The functions mentioned are only found in the most advanced surveillance malware (NSA style)

If you are really sure it's for himself, the path is still quite rocky. He has to get hold of this advanced malware and "infect" himself. It probably involves some black market connections, which obviously, no one here can divulge on (against EE rules, even if for yourself).

Yep i am sure, as he wants us to install the software on his laptop and configure webcam so it records and stores data.

wasnt aware of the illegal side of things, a lawyer told me to set this up and he is not aware its against law wow lol!

Sounds like a user who doesn't understand what is and isn't possible, and also what legislation on the subject  really means.

There is of course the ability to log all emails sent and received by the user, and also all the websites visited, these are standard Corporate requirements.

i'm usure it is even possible to produce a software that will RELIABLY provide such information if the person who is being observed is aware of it and has physical access to the computer...

now it is quite easy to monitor user sessions using regular software such as vnc and even log the session remotely, and it is trivial to open a webcam and send a feed to the internet using for example vlc

opening those two feeds from 9 to 5 and letting whoever is asking this to connect whenever they whish to and possibly record everything might address his needs... which are weird because usually people would ask him to work using a remote desktop in the first place
