asked on VMware Datastore issue
When I click on a specific VM's Datastore I see 3 different Folders with different contents:
filename.org = has only 11 .png files
filename.org_1 = has only 4 .png files
filename.org_2 = has .vmx, vmx.lck, ctk.vmdk, vmdk, hlog, log, vmsd, log, vswp, nvram, vmx~, vmxf and flat.vmdk
My question:
1.Why do I see only One VM in the vCenter and when I go to the DataStore, I see 3 different Folders pertaining to this VM? What seems to be the issue.
2. Also, I am seeing a warning message in Tasks & Events:
Warning message from Filename.org. The
guest OS has reported an error during quiescing.
The error code was: 5 The error message was:
'VssSyncStart' operation failed: IDispatch error #
8449 (0x80042301)
