We are using MS Deployment Toolkit 2013 Update 2, and when we configured 'Task Sequences' in Deployment Workbench.
It goes through  the 'Task Sequences but stops @ Post Install .  It stops there, and we do not know
why it does not continue.  (see picture)

Does anyone know what the next step in troubleshooting this.

We are having a hard time figuring this out.

We are using Server 2008 R2
thanks

Hi,

You need to provide logs. Please attach the BDD.log from the machine that fails.

Hi Mike I have enclosed the file but it tells nothing and last entry was from 2015.

This file is from:  C:\MININT\SMSOSD\OSDLOGS

BDD.log

Hi,

That log is no good, as it's near empty.
See if there are other logs

Smsts.log

Path can be any one of the following, as it depends what stage the OSD gets to
%temp%\smstslog\
%TEMP%
%WINDIR%\System32\ccm\logs
C:\_SMSTaskSequence
C:\SMSTSLog

BDD.log in %WINDIR%\TEMP\DeploymentLogs

Also, I was thinking what other logs there are I found that MDT logs to the eventlog, as per:
https://deploymentbunny.com/2013/12/29/powershell-is-king-create-a-webpage-containing-ltizti-deployment-issues-with-information-and-links-to-logs/

Don't worry about creating a webpage! It's just handy for the PowerShell command.

Questions that might help us help you:
What OS are you deploying?
Are you using physical hardware or a VM?
If physical what machine is it?
Does the OS finish installing?
Are any drivers applied?

Deploying Windows 10
Deploying to physical laptops
Dells E7440
OS installs up to putting in hotmail account or domain.

Drivers work (network, wireless, etc.)

The logs I sent you show nothing and there is no smstslog

I cannot get this Task Sequence to work, does not install the applications
