I Knew about isolating the credit card network from the rest. but here is a question back at you, usually the firms that provide their own handheld terminal units to businesses once connected to the LAN port and has access to the internet, the device will connect and report to its own cloud network and become active for use. I know it creates its own vpn connection and encryption is set by the company providing the service. Am I right ? also is this not enough solution for businesses and what the hype about this PCI - DSS solutions. I understand why banks emphasize on this but other industries will not need to
