is your bios set to boot from the correct disk drive -or partition?<br />
you can post a picture if unsure<br />
if you have a pnp error in the bios, you can try updating the bios, or using an older bios file

I was able to boot into safe mode on the other computers and uninstall the patch.<br />

I have a number of Dell Latitude E7250 laptops with Windows 8.1<br />
I installed some windows updates today and now none of them are bootable.<br />

I get a pre-windows error:<br />
PNP detected Fatal Error<br />
<br />
I have unplugged all external devices but it did not help, same error.<br />
<br />
My guess is that it had something to do with the installation of the<br />
Intel - other hardware - intel dynamic platform and thermal framework<br />
<br />
I can boot into safe mode but &nbsp;I cannot uninstall the regular windows updates that have today's date, it gives and error.<br />
I cannot find the intel stuff mentioned above to try to uninstall it.<br />
