Need an update to Android Uber Driver app

When I start the app. I get a warning there's an update.

I downloaded the app from here:

https://partners.uber.com/drive-now

I see the "Installed" button knows about the program and does nothing.

Must I delete the app from the Dowloaded Apps section? If I do, what guarantee is there the "Installed" button will be replaced with "Install"?

Thanks

Check in your program list what version you actually have.

I use Transit on my iPhone and it warned me of an update I already had.

Is this a paid app? or free?

How do I find the version? The app was downloaded to

My Files > Downloaded apps
Something like that. I use iPhone so I have a different menu, but in that type of menu, Transit showed up with the same version installed as it was telling me it was new.
I have an iPhone too,  but have never found a single similarity with Android.

I do not plan to access this as a programmer. I am a user on the Android.
I did not see any other way to check the version. Android has made this difficult.

You might try emailing Uber App support. I have done this for other apps and gotten help this way.
What do I actually do? Do I plug it into my PC?
I am not that familiar with how Android syncs apps. If there is a desktop program like iTunes, try it.
thanks
You are very welcome. I am not an Android specialist but I like helping you.
