We've had our SharePoint site for years but we're now running into a lot of issues with people checking out documents, rather than just opening them to fill out. They don't check them back in so it's causing problems if someone needs to edit a document. Since we don't really use that feature, is there a way to disable checking documents out in SharePoint or do I need to do it by library?
