How to host windows service on Windows Server 2008

Hello Experts,
I am trying to host a Windows Service in Windows Server 2008 R2.  I am able to host the same Service in the local machine using installutil  -i ...command in the DOS prompt.  By the the way, the services written in C# in Visual Studio 2010.  Please let me know.

You still use installutil -i in order to run the server process installer.  You could also build a setup project in order to create an installer for the service.

Thank you!  I am using installutil -i and getting the following error.  What I am missing?

System.Security.SecurityException: The source was not found, but some or all event logs could not be searched.  Inaccessible logs: Security.
An exception occurred during the Rollback phase of the installation. This exception will be ignored and the rollback will continue. However, the machine might not fully revert to its initial state after the rollback is complete.

Thank you Saige.  I just had to close the Services window and reopened.
