Hey Guys,

I have a Wi-Fi network consisting of five Cisco Aironet 1832i with one acting as a Mobility Express controller.  They are all part number AIR-AP1832I-A-K9C   note the "C" on the end.   I assume that it means I can use any of them as a Mobility Express controller.  Here is my question:

I need to add another AP and the "C" version is heavily backordered.  Can I not simply order AP1832I-A-K9 ?   Will it not work with the Mobility Express controller?  Can only the "C" version be added to a Mobility Express network?

Been trying to get an answer from Cisco to no avail!

Short answer is yes, you can use an AP without the C in the part code.

Here's the FAQ and ordering guide...
