Not able to Install IE 11 on Windows 32 Bit

Dear Friends,

I have not been able to upgrade my Internet Explorer from Version 8 to Version 11.

These are 32 Bit Windows 7 Laptops. They ask me to update the Laptop.

But even after installing the windows update when i run the IE 11 Windows installer the upgrade does not Happen.

Can you please help me with the upgrade to IE 11 on these 32 bit machines.

Windows updates should have updated IE automatically.

Internet explorer is part of windows 7 operating system.
Check your updates list of updates,
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update\View update history
also check the updates settings for Allow all users to update and give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates
Otherwise install sp1 as suggested by rindi to check for this right click Computer properties, this shows if SP is installed, if that doesn't solve it do a repair reinstall that will cause windows updates to run again during reboot. You may have missing reg keys or a problem with currently installed programs. In order to run IE11 which is html5 you may need other things updated as well such as video drivers. Net framework .
Please let us know if you have SP installed.

I followed your instructions, it is still not working.

I have upgraded to service pack1 and the run the following update.

After thats the below link is not working....does not do anything but keeps on searching for updates...

You have to install the new update agent too which I mentioned above.

Since the version of IE was IE8 which is unbelievably outdated that also says to me how outdated is the rest of these computers?
The path to IE 11 is IE9 IE10 then IE11
Try instead to upgrade in steps do IE9 first then IE10 and then IE11 rebooting in between

Just so you know Microsoft ended support for IE8, IE9, IE10, in August 2014.
