Outlook hosted email signature on google drive

Im trying to use a signature.jpg in my google drive account in my Outlook where I have my office 365 email.

First of all can this work I have my jpg file so everyone can reach it and I have tried the link in a webbroweser and it works.
But I cant get it to work in Outlook.
I get a popup window and I cant get the signature to work.

Simply save it to signature.jpg on your local machine and try again.

But I want to use a hosted signature.

Including links to hosted images will result in Outlook malformed signature and Outlook showing the "download external images" warning. Even increasing the spam score in some cases.

Anyway, I just tested this with image hosted on google drive and it seems to work fine in Outlook 2016. Make sure you are using a link that actually exposes the image directly, like described for example here: http://blog.interlockit.com/2014/02/embed-image-in-your-google-apps.html
