RDWeb and RemoteApp: How to launch RemoteApp after RDWeb login?

I have Windows Server 2012 R2 and RDWeb configured. If I login using RDWeb I can see my RemoteApp and I can launch it. What I want to achieve is to launch this RemoteApp automatically after login. How can I do it?

Hi,

I don't think it can be done, since server cannot know what application do you want to lunch.

If you want shorted way of lunching app, then use "RemoteApp and Desktop Connections" or some of the ways supported by MS. You can read about them on this page: https://www.concurrency.com/blog/w/how-to-deliver-remoteapps-from-windows-server-2012

I am using RemoteApp and Desktop Connections, deployed via GPO, so all of your users will have shortcut for app on their computer. No need to login to RDWeb page, just run app and enter username/ password.

Regards,
Ivan.

remoteapp allows you to run the application without using rdweb or remoting in via remote desktop. you should have a remote app item in control panel.remote app
if you want a program to always start when using remote desktop
remote desktop start program
