Hello peeps!

Is there any re-deployment tasks involved while upgrading a vCenter Server 5  Essentials to Standard?
Is it just a matter of entering the new Standard license keys on the existing vCenter Server Essentials?

Thank you!

Hi

You just need to change the license. Nothing else.

vCenter then will add the extra features.

You are correct it is just a case of entering the new licenses keys you have and then make sure you assign the vCenter Keys to the vCentet server Asset by Assigning the key.
