can't rename my folder on the desktop

its happening, new employee and can't rename any folder on his desktop. Windows 7 64bit

there is used to be a problem if you had preview enabled on the windows explorer. disabling preview would correct issue with being unable to rename a folder on the desktop (or any place for that matter)

can you right-click on the folder and click rename?
what does that give you?
