Lenovo M90 + e-mail + browser?

We acquired an M90 desktop with Windows 7.
This will replace a Vista system.

1. What are our e-mail choices with the M90 besides:
a. Thunderbird
b. Using our ISP's e-mail program which is veeeeery user friendly. The only negative is I can not copy paste e-mail addresses for new outgoing messages. It is clearly way above the user easy of Thunderbird.
c. We already have Yahoo and three Outlook accounts (formerly Hotmail) and they ruined Hotmail by changing to Outlook. Yahoo has too much spam.

2. Which browsers work best with the M90 (Windows 7) and maybe rank them 1-5 with 5 being the best.

With the Vista we have tried over the years FF, Chrome, Opera, IE 9.0, and for a very short period of time (days) Safari as we tried to resolve trying to print from a specific site.
We like the most frequented sites being on a new tab on Chrome. A feature we'd hope to keep. Not sure but I think Firefox and IE offer the same?

IE has worked wonderfully on that machine for years.

Office 2010 does include Outlook 2010 and works well on that system.
Just taking a look here. Chrome 45 and up and IE11 have 50% of the browser market share. Only Chrome and IE each command 15% or more of the total market. IE have 15%, Chrome 52 has 18%.
The market share says nothing about the quality of the Browser.

Opera had something like speed dial (?) top left as you waited for the browser to go to the website. It was not "speed" at all and that may be due to Vista.

Google every day tells us that they no longer provide security for Vista. Every day we ignore it.

IE 9.0 no longer works well.

On the Vista machine the best are FF and Chrome.

Windows 7 gives us a chance to try IE 11 and notice improvements.
IE isn't safe. The only reasons people use it is because it is the default in m$ OS's up to Windows 8.1, and because some stupid software programmers only supported that browser.
Nick, I think I left EMET on that machine. IE plus EMET is as good as anything else. I have never been compromised.

We'll go with our ISP's mail page which looks like "Zimbra" for the time being and then consider others.
Thanks for the update and good luck with your selection.
