In SQL server default isolation level is readcommitted.
Which isolation level you will suggest to client to change from the readcommitted?

So you need to first understand the isolation level and how it works. I shall give you a brief idea. It basically controls the locking and row versioning behavior of T-SQL statements issued by a user to the SQL Engine.

Below is the list of Isolation level available in SQL Server. Note each isolation level is used for a specific purpose.

READ UNCOMMITTED
READ COMMITTED
REPEATABLE READ
SNAPSHOT
SERIALIZABLE

For SQL - READ COMMITTED is the default one.
For SSIS - SERIALIZABLE is the default one.

I suggest you read about these and based on your requirement decide. If you need help with a specific requirment, Pls explain the requirement.

If you want to change then use below command-

SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL [name]

*- [name] you can choose from the above list.

D'oh?

Without further information: There is no need to change that. Cause READ COMMITED is the default, cause it addresses and solves the usual concurrency issues.
