Outlook 2016 - Calendar invitations and events.
When replying too or forwarding - where does Outlook store these files and events.

I would have thought they would all show up in sent items.....

but apparently not all of them do

Dear user
Outlook stores all the email, contacts, calendars, in  PST files. After accepting/declining the calendar invitation or event it gets deleted from the Outlook interface. But they are still present in the PST files. To find Out the file location of the PST file that store calender follow the steps.
1. Open Microsoft Outlook
2. Go to file
3. Now select the Data File
4. Click on Open
5. Right click on the folder list.
6. Select on Properties.
7. Select Advanced
8. locate the listed Path.
9. Go to the recommended path, you'll find your PST file.

You can also backup Outlook calendars using a PST backup tool. But if you want to disable the deleting feature, so that it doesn't get deleted in future and get stored in your Inbox, follow the below steps:
1. Go to File.
2. Click on Options
3. Then go to Mails
4. Scroll down to the Send message section
5. Unchecked the "   Delete meeting requests and notifications from Inbox after responding"

Delete meeting requests and notifications from Inbox after responding
Thanks & Regards
