How do I create redirects so that the old urls for a website redirect to new urls?   The pages were renamed and they are also going to be using a new domain name.  The site is in wordpress.

Hi,
you can use .htaccess to redirect a page that no longer exists or redirect to new url.

Redirect 301 /team.html http://www.existingurl.com/newpage.html

RedirectMatch 301 ^(.*)$ http://www.newurl.com

There is a great Google article with all the steps:

Plus you can monitor the url problem with Google webmaster tools.

You can also test your redirect
