after a minute, it says : pc needs to be restarted<br />
i restart it, and t asks for installing the KB - &nbsp;and does so without problem<br />

it is searching now for updates

So i guess my solution worked ?<br />

BTW there is a bunch of updates that i installed last time on a new Windows 7 Sp1 PC before the update started to work as it should dont have the info right now but there where like 5-7 KBs to fix the windows updater...

well - i installed windows 7 ultimate fresh 64 bit + SP1 + IE11 without problems<br />
i installed the update agent fine<br />
but when i tried to install the other update :kb/3102810, it starts searchin for updates - and continues to do so for already 6 hrs???<br />
