I use my desktop as dev server, it runs fine with the message such as the following:

System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show("HERE")

But when I move it to production, I am getting error

Showing a modal dialog box or form when the application is not running in UserInteractive mode is not a valid operation. Specify the ServiceNotification or DefaultDesktopOnly style to display a notification from a service application.

I need that to alert user if they want to overwrite the report with YES/NO.  Why doesnt it work and is there any other way?  thanks

If this is really ASP.Net, you'll need to inject some javascript into your page.  All that "system.windows" stuff runs on the server, not on the client.
