Hi all
Have anyone come across when outlook crashes and reopens when the message is closed after a period of time.

If only one machine with this issue, try the following:

1. Delete the Outlook Profile (Control Panel, Mail). This deletes the account as well. Open Outlook, make a new account and point it to the existing PST file (do not use the Account Wizard).

2. If the first idea does not work, Repair Office (Control Panel, Programs and Features), restart and test.

3. If you are still having issues, make a new, test Windows User Profile (Account). Log into the new Windows Account, set up Outlook and test. Does a new Windows Account solve the problem?

I have done repair, reinstalling the office but it is still the same. I will try creating new windows profile and see if that work.

Hi John
Looks like its not the outlook crashing itself. I created new outlook profile and tested for quite some time and the outlook was working fine. Its only when excel is being used same time as the outlook, it would crash.
I couldn't create new windows profile on the machine as the user decided to change his machine due to hardware issue.
So i have setup outlook on it, so we are still due to test it thoroughly. As it is the new machine with new profile, it might not crash.
