Lenovo T440s keyboard - how to swap the keyboard with a new one - I cant do the final bit / the holder of the ribbon cable

Ive the KB removed and it still connected via the ribbon cable

What way does it detatch?

Does the holder act like a hinge? I dont want to break it

Look at the end of the cable. It is flat, fits in a socket, and you need to pull back the tabs (gently) on each side to release the cable from the socket.

Get the Hardware Maintenance manual for your machine from the Lenovo Support site and review it to verify the steps.
