antivirus on mac
is it neccessary to have antivirus on mac of a corporate with windows network
It's never a bad idea but the risk is OS dependent not hardware based, Windows is more susceptible to infection while the Unix structure of MacOS provides added layers of inherent protection.
MAC uses "security by obscurity"...
It is easily infected by viruses and malware, and should be vigorously protected...
It just relies on the fact that nobody bothers to infect them because there are so few of them out there!
