Multiple Contact Sources Causing Search Dupes

In Outlook 2016 when one searches for a name in the "People" (Contacts) segment the search returns multiple instances of the same contact. These appear to derive from redundant "Contact Sources" that seem not to be editable. For example I see the same contact listed three times from the same source, my primary email address, that is listed three times.

How and why did this happen, please?

How would one NUKE that problem.

Thank you
