Can't remove a calendar item in Outlook

A particular item created in a shared calendar can't be removed. However, the user has already granted with owner right. We are using Exchange 2010.

Any idea ?

The appointments have been set to private and that is why the user is not able to delete it.

Only the one who set it to private.  Remove the private setting and all users should be able to delete it.
