Access query that references subform

Below are my objectives with this phase of my  dbase project.  Could you C--Users-josht-Desktop-EE.accdbC--Users-josht-Desktop-EE.accdbtell me if my objectives are possible in ACCESS?

 ADV - advanced search form

 Main_Unbound- main unbound form

 Item_Single - top half subform

 Item_List - bottom half subform

 1) on the top subform (item_single) I want to be able to search for any field value in the top search box, and have it list on the bottom subform (item_List) accordingly sorted by PLU.

 2) If multiple results are found, I would like to be able to click each record in the (bottom item_list) and have it refresh the top (item_single) accordingly.

 3) If no results are found have the form reset and message box ("no items found"),

 4) If no search criteria entered have the form reset and message box ("no search criteria entered")

 5) Reset button will reset search

 6) ADV (advanced search) button will open a pop-up sub-form in which user will be able to filter on any or all combined fields with found set results listed on bottom subform.
