I upgraded a computer using the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.  During the update, it prompted me to uninstall SEP.  After the update completed successfully, I am unable to install SEP 12.1.6 MP6.  It keeps telling me "Doesn't work on this version of Windows".  I can't find a solution on Symantec's site.

Sep is incompatible with windows 10. See if there is a win 10 supported update, that has recently been released.

Consensus ru6/ru7 or ru8 might be the version supporting Windows 10 if not until sep 13 Comes out.

Ref Symantec. Forums, search "sep Windows 10"

That version is said to be compatible, see https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.HOWTO119349.html and especially anniversary upgrade: https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.HOWTO125003.html

https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH235458.html makes a distinction between "compatible" and fully supported. Fully supported: in the next major release. Compatible: now.

Ask their support, what to do, since it should work.

Their support advised me to wait for the next release, as SEP 12.1.6 MP6 currently has issues with Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

The other suggestions did not help.  Symantec tech support advised me to wait for the next release.
