You can configure  call forwarding after for example 10 rings without hang-up on reception line. You can do it directly on the reception phone or by configuration of PBX.

Are you interfacing using the phone overlay, or you use the GUI over USB?
As suggested forwarding on busy/no answer after 10 seconds usually match 4-5 rings.
Another option to setup a hunt group, but that would mean that a call will fall through to other extensions when reception is busy..

You provided us with the model of the handset, not the PBX (which should be a KX-TDA or KX-TDE series)

I'd go with the approach of creating a hunt group, so that several extensions would ring at the same time. Then if that call isn't answered, you can let it go to voicemail or let it ring to another party.
