Setting so system requires a password after 20 minutes?
http://superuser.com/questions/677505/how-do-i-set-windows-7-to-require-password-after-i-leave-the-computer-for-5-minutes
The above seems not to be correct for my Vista. I go to screen saver and it says none is chosen. The "minutes" can not be changed from 10 to anything.
I think I have mine set for more than 10 minutes. Everything on the system works though the login screen is seen that requires a password.
So looking to do this on a Windows 7 system.

@David...are you sure? I don't remember being able to require a password on the power settings options.
In fact, I just checked on a Windows 7 machine. There is no option on the power settings for the display to require a password.

I'll post a screen shot of what we want later on.
Start > search > is not finding power settings.
Start > search > is not finding power settings.
"Power Options" is under "Control Panel". Switch to small icons, but I don't think you're going to find anything under display about passwords.

Is this for Vista or Windows 7 (read your question as it is confusing), either way the procedure is the same
