We see i3 and i5 and the Ghz is no different than above though the Intel 2.53Ghz in the title is very old.
How do they compare?

Thanks and I was happy to help. I hope you are enjoying your new machine.
i3 CPU's usually have less cores than i5's, and also i7's often have more cores than the i5. Also, There are also more differences, often the integrated GPU is a lower model than the GPU in the i5.
But as above, we'd need to know the exact CPU model number and not just it GHz speed and whether it is an i3, i5 or i7.

What makes the i7 different than the other one when the Ghz is close to identical?
John if your new one is faster than your old one and the Ghz. is less than the i5, explain that............
