Does anyone know the syntax to call the google search engine when the browser is configured with a non google search engine such as bing or yahoo?

Hello,  I am searching for help/documentation on how to call the google search engine from a workstation browser which is configured with a non-google search engine.  An example might be firefox browser with a non google search engine such as bing.

In any recent version of Firefox, you can click on the magnifying glass in the search box and choose the search engine you want to use.  I don't see any easy way in Chrome.  One way would be to save links to the search engines in your Bookmarks bar.  My personal home page has links to all the search engines.
