I wanna retrieve data from two worksheets in the .xlsx file by doing join operation on them using olebd c#.wrote the query as (@"select * from [sheet1$] inner join [sheet2] on sheet1.Id = sheet2.id"

But it's giving error "no value passed to one or more required parameters"..

The exact SQL statement needed will depend on how you are opening the connection to the MS-Excel workbook file, certainly depending if you are using the "HDR=Yes" parameter, but I suspect you may need to revise what you have at present to something like this:

SELECT * FROM [Sheet1$] INNER JOIN [Sheet2$] ON [Sheet1$].[Id] = [Sheet2$].[id]
