When attempting to generate an e-mail from a application through Outlook, I receive the message "OLE error code 0x80004023: A Microsoft Software Installer error was encountered". What I can offer is I just removed Office 2016 32-bit from a Windows 7-64 bit workstation and installed Office 2016-64 bit for better performance. Any help or suggestions to resolving this issue is greatly appreciated.

you are trying to execute a 64 bit process from a 32 bit application. Perhaps if you change the OLE to use the 64 bit version it will work otherwise it will not work. Microsoft does not recommend the 64 bit version of office since it breaks most 3rd party applications

Hi David,

I appreciate the feedback. I've installed the 32 bit application back onto the workstation. Many Thanks!
