Hey guys

I had outlook 2007 with my iCloud calendar setup, it started prompting a message stating the "set of folders could not open" So i upgraded to Outlook 2016 and completely uninstalled iCloud.

Now, when i re-install iCloud there is no option for Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. How do i get my iCloud calendar back onto Outlook?

When you reinstalled the iCloud application, it needs to configured. Open it up and you will see a box with options. You need to sign into iCloud via the application and it will then allow you to check the box for Outlook to sync calendar, contacts. I attached a screenshot of how it should look.

Do you see anything above the iCloud drive?  That is a box, I had my own personal info there so I cut it out.

I think the install is bad then. iCloud can be messy that way. I would uninstall it again, reboot and be sure you are getting the most recent iCloud download, maybe you're using an older version.

The new one has the sign in and the mail accounts above the iCloud drive area.

iCloud Control Panel for Windows 6.0.1?

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204283

Are you subscriber for Office 365?

If yes, you need to uninstall Outlook 2016 and install Outlook 2013 as auto update of Win 10 abd Outlook 2016 is having problem with iCloud.

If you still want Outlook 2016, try the following.

"That thread has at least 2 workarounds:
Reverting to a version of Office from a few months ago (but still Office 2016) and turning off Office updates
Reverting to a previous version of Windows 10 (but current Office 2016) and turning off Windows updates"

I did a repair on MS office, and that resolved the issue.
