how to install Wi-Fi to this printer QL420 Plus, q4d-luga0000-00)

Dear Sirs,

We need your advise. We have Zebra Printer (QL420 Plus, q4d-luga0000-00) and we want to connect by bluetooth or Wi-Fi to MC67. After checking the printers we found that these printers do not have bluetooth. Now, we are trying to connect by Wi-Fi but we are unable to activate the Wi-Fi of the printer. We follow up the steps of the installing of Wi-Fi  in Zebra Website but still there is not solution. Please guide us how to install Wi-Fi to this printer or give us a proper technical solution to connect by Wireless.  We are waiting your reply. Thank you
Haider

The manual for these printers indicates that they are 802.11B only.  This could be a problem in an environment where 802.11a, ac, g or n are used.

On page 11, the manual indicates that only WEP encryption is available for standard wireless.  Later on the manual indicates that if the printer is a special model which has a Cisco radio installed, WPA is available.

WEP encryption was broken some years back, so it is likely that your network uses WPA.  Do your printers have the Cisco radio installed that is capable of WPA?  If not, the only way that comes to mind to get these printers working on a secure network with WPA is to purchase some inexpensive wireless printer servers.
