I believe that I can show the file count as the hyperlink text as you are requesting, but as usual I have a few questions.

1) If a file is added to or deleted from a folder that the workbook hyperlinks to, the count won't automatically be updated. Would you like a button that will update the counts in all hyperlinks?

2) As far as I can tell, the HYPERLINK button you show in the video does the sane thing as Right-Click|Edit Hyperlink or simply clicking on the hyperlink. If you intend for it to do more then let me know. If not, do you really want a button for that?

3) You say you want the column to be the same color as K:M. Do you mean the orange color?

---Yes this option would be great, but to have less button is it possible to have this update implemented on the refresh button we already have called "REFRESH" to do this in addition to what it do.

2) As far as I can tell, the HYPERLINK button you show in the video does the sane thing as Right-Click|Edit Hyperlink or simply clicking on the hyperlink. If you intend for it to do more then let me know. If not, do you really want a button for that?

---Yes i would like it to have this function in the new created "HYPERLINK" button.

3) You say you want the column to be the same color as K:M. Do you mean the orange color?

---Yes

let's say the hyper link is going to be in sync with a folder called "A"

***If folder "A" has
4 folder inside and
4 rar files and
4 word doc
Have Folder "A" shown as follow (**12 Files **)

It doesn't happen to me so I need to know what you did before you clicked the Refresh button.

I know what it is. Delete the hyperlinks in the workbook I attached since they point to folders on my PC.

Hey Marty when creating a hyperlink and linking it to a file

It is recognizing the FOLDERS

But not PDF, Word, Excel, Photo or others

Link to a folder rather than a file and see if it works right.

When i link it to a folder and i click the hyperlink cell it works great, but is it possible to see when i click on the Hyperlink to see other type of files format and not only limiting it self to look for only folder.

For example if i click on a cell and then click on the "HYPERLINK" button is it possible that it can also show.

PDF, WORD, DOCS, RAR ETC

The hyperlink will show you the contents of the linked-to folder and you can then drill down to any subfolder and file that you want.

ok, yes i know that when i open it, it does show the actual file that way when clicking on the hyperlink cell that has a file link on there.

but, just a question...
Is it possible to have this method where i can see all those other files instead of it limiting itself to just folder.

Let's say if there is a pic i only want to be used as a hyperlink or
PDF for an actual book

i would appreciate to click on a task that say

Task : Receipt for car > Hyperlink : Actual Receipt for car Pic
Instead of me having it on a folder

Task : Book 13 laws of success > Hyperlink : Actual PDF 13 laws of success
Instead of me having it on a folder

No. It will just show you the files and sub-folders of the linked-to folder,
