Exchange 2016 Installation behavior

If you are installing Exchange 2016 in a mixed exchange environment with Exchange 2010 will the first Exchange 2016 server installed take over all of the Internet facing tasks like Active Sync, Webmail, Outlook Anywhere, Autodiscover?  Will it take over all of the CAS Server duties without being configured to do so?

ASKER

Todd,
If we do not cutover for 24 hours,  will we get a lot of errors from the new 2016 servers Autodiscover?

Will this be noticeable to users?  Or will this just be noticeable in the logs?

The Outlook client users will most likely get untrusted certificate pop-ups but those can safely be ignored.
