Hi

I have a Windows server 2008 that is hosting IBM MQ.
We use  the TLSv1.0 cipher SSL_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA and Im wanting to upgrade to the TLSv1.2 cipher SSL_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA256.

Does anyone know how i can do that? I suspect its either IBM MQ Key manager (but cant find option) or some config file that i can amend?

You do it at the server/Operating System level, unfortunately Server 2008 does not support what you want and is in extended support, 2008R2 does support TLS 1.2
the easiest tool to use is the https://www.nartac.com/Products/IISCrypto/ tool.
