IPhone phones common Business applications-
I am sure you guys are wondering why i asked this questions but the reason is that we are thinking of replacing our current blackberry with iPhone phones and we are thinking of not using a MDM to manage the phones. We will just be dependent with the exchange mobile policy for security and security wipe out. In order to limit the people to install unneeded application, we are thinking of locking down the phones via the "Restriction" and put a password on it. But we are thinking that there might be some needed apps that the users need that commonly used by most iPhone users for business.
What are the common list of applications that really needed by iPhone users?
Is their like a bases of list of applciations that we can used as a reference that commonly used by company that provide iphones to their employees?
I understand that this questions should not be asked here but maybe some of my co-members here have the knowledge or can give us some clue.
Thanks!

We want to avoid any request if possible to unlock the phone mostly it needs to be done physically to enter the restriction password. Then I strongly suggest you ensure they use a company email address as their iCloud (Apple ID) when they register the iPhone. At least, I imagine this way, when they leave the company, you have access to that email address, can change it yourselves, and can restore the iPhone for future use.

Thank you Kyle. this will help mostly the point you provided below regarding to ensure that they used the company email address for iCloud. I did not think of it and the user might used it and it might be a problem.
You're welcome.

Aside from the Firefox, Chrome, whatsup, facebook, uber, lyf... what do you think are common that we need to pre-installed in the iPhone?
