Windows 7 + IE 11.0 and display of open browsers.
2 Windows 7 systems.
In this image you see my pc with 4 IE browsers open: Ebay at the bottom and then Yahoo and two others. This is the way mine are seen when hovering over the icon for IE.
The neighbor gets different. His 4 browsers would show windows maybe 2x3 inches and would be displayed along the bottom of the screen.
Mine like this but his would be situated like the 4 yellow areas.
Which setting controls this?

Both systems are W7 professional. My IE is 11.0.9600.18499
His IE is 11 too, version not known.

Can you send a screen shot of his browser? Do you want your browser hovered pages to be like his or has it been like that with yours before?

I do not like his because the pages will open fully on the screen and then go back to being a small thumbnail like window. Very hard to get one or more open.
I like mine the way it is but he may want to change his.
My version of IE may be a few years old and his may be a newer version. Not sure. But it seems like there must be a setting where you choose how they are displayed when the mouse hovers over the IE icon lower left beside the start button.

You may check the settings of your IE. Click the gear icon again and select "Internet Options". Scroll down and select the "Tabs" button. You will be taken to the Tab settings. You can compare your settings to his.

Hi nickg5,
As quoted from below URL:
To display Aero effects such as transparency in Windows 7 follow these steps:
1. Make sure that Windows Experience Index has been calculated and computed.
2. Click on Start menu.
3. Type the following text into the Start Search box, Aero
4. Click on a search result listing under Control Panel group that named as the following.
Find and fix problems with transparency and other visual effects.
5. An “Aero – Troubleshoot computer problems” wizard dialog will appear. Click on Next button.
6. The troubleshooting wizard will try to detect any problem by running a series of checks against various components required to make Aero works and running, such as video memory, Desktop Windows Manager (DWM) service, color depth, theme, power settings and etc. At the end of the analysis, the wizard will attempt to fix the issues related to Aero service and restart the Aero feature.

Hi Kyu,
I will not test that or I might lose mine.
He can open his and see what theme he has now and then he can consider a change.

HI nickg5,
I was actually referring for the steps to be done on your neighbor's computer and not yours. Your computer is already set to Classic theme. His computer is set to Windows 7 Basic Theme, that's why he has the Aero View.

ok....thanks.
Every browser result depends on the version and. From what I can see in the image, it seems you are using an old version of IE. You may check the version of your browser by clicking the gear icon on the top right of the browser. The gear icon is right next to the star one. Then select "About Internet Explorer". From there you will see what version you have for the IE browser.
You can also verify with your neighbor what operating system he's using on his computer as well as the version of the browser. This won't affect the results when you try to you use the IE browser though.
Let me know if you need more help.
