Adapting Windows 7 Image for all HDD size
Hi ...
I have a Windows 7 image that is made for 230GB HDD disk space. I have few PCs with much bigger harddrive disk space. After restoring the image on the bigger hard drives, the disk Management shows the right size for each partition, but Windows explorer shows the 230GB disk space in total. Is there a way to solve this issue. I ahve already use chkdsk utility but it did not help.
Thank you so much for your Quick Prompts.

Thank you for your help.
I follow the instruction here:

to fix the issue. Althought, the option was grayed out in disk manager,

post a screenshot of disk management showing the partitions
if you have more than one partition, you need free space next to your 230 partition in order to be able to extend it
now it looks like CCCCCDDDDDEEEEffff
you have to make first some free space, by shrinking a partition, or if you have Free space at the end like above (free = fffff)
then you need to move Dand E partitions to the right, so the free space shows up as :
CCCCCfffffDDDDDEEEE
then you can extend the partition
bootit-BM does this (free for this task) www.terabyteunlimited.com/
you can also use paragon free partition manager : https://www.paragon-software.com/home/pm-express/

Thanks nobus for your comment.
As I said, it is fixed by simply using diskpart to extend the volume.
David had the right idea, but wrong execution method..!! :)
Thank you for your time.
