Nope. We have created a Windows server 2012 on our network for testing WDS. Connected to that server through remote desktop connection and I have added the Hyper v on the server and created the virtual machine. Then i went to vm setting and added the ISO image. tried to start, got that error.
Can you check your BIOS settings and make sure that: Virtualization / VT-x is enabled,

I have a question there too. I have to restart to go to BIOS settings right. When I restart it the remote desktop connection is closed, so how to check the bios settings.
You have to do this on server itself, you can't access bios unless you have IPMI management port on your server for network management
Basically you need to be in front of server with keyboard and monitor connected to it

The server is also is virtual server or not. I will check with Admin tomorrow and reply back, Thanks for the help.
No worry, You might be trying to run multiple hypervisors and if the system isn't set up for nested option and config you might run into these issue, but yeah would be better to check out with your admin

Sorry I have a question on MDT as well, could you help?
Yeah

So i just installed MDT on WDS server. We are planning to deploy windows 10 to all computer in the organization. As a test we are creating a test environment with windows 7 which we already have. So my question is how to add win 7 ISO image directly to deployment workbench and also what setting we have to do to assign pc name to be grabbed from asset tag. If that is a new machine MDT assign a name. Is that possible.

So how can we do that in WDS, We are testing with both. Which is easy to deploy ?
You will pre-stage the computer in WDS computer list using mac address of computer NIC or GUID
This isn't simple task and you will have to do your studies, you can't learn this in one day
This includes Unattend.xml files with install configuration, but you need to watch some youtube guides

Ok thanks. Is there any way in MDT or WDS to boot the client computer other than PXE boot.
I don't think so PXE it's whole point of deployment unless you create ready image to DVD or usb and deploy system from it on the Computer directly

Please do suggest some material which can help me to accomplish this task. This whole deployment this is really confusing.
Thanks alot in advance.I am watching some youtube videos and learned the basics but they are deploying image on single virtual machine without naming convention.
We have around 1200 PC' on active directory.
