I've been using TeamViewer for many years now. I run a computer service company and have hundreds of clients across North America.

It really depends on how many remotes you want to get into. If it's for personal use (helping friends and family occasionally) You can use the free version.

If you are doing it for a living (commercial) then you will need a commercial license.

It has all the bells and whistles you should need.  No router ports to open and even allows you to restart the remote in Safe mode with networking.
