Exchange 2013 / Outlook 2013 MSE Unavailble
Hi All
Exchange 2013 / Outlook 2013
userA has a MB for userA & full access to MB UserB
IF i configure the MB to be for USERA - running throught the defaults MB works absolutelty fine and connects
Configuring the Mailbox in Outlook so its primary MB is USERB however seems to fail with the attached error
outlook cannot login, verify you are connected to the network .......
THis happens at the point of where you check name after entering the exchange server and users name
IF i enter another server name IE our domain controller which hosts the DNS/DHCP the name does resolve and setup completed but then outlook fails to open with Microsoft exchange is unavailble (retry/work offli/cancel)
userA has FULL access to USERb MB
This has historically worked fine-so not sure what the issue is now
These are being tested on new profiles with outlook connecting as if it is first start launch/configure whilst this is resolved.

You can also enable Outlook Logging, re-create the issue and see if anything turns up in those logs.
You will not be able to read the .ETL files. Those can only be read by an accredited MS Engineer.

Both MB are on the same DB, unfortunalty Fiddler showed nothing......
oddly If i configure outlook for the user that is logged into the machine it all works fine
However whenthe users requirement is to have another service MB as its primary MB it fails to resolve the recipient and go any furthur..

Issue resolved by me-unfortunalty comments very helpful did not point to the resolution
Are the 2 users on the same DB and/or mailbox server?
I'm not sure if this will show anything but it might.
Try using Fiddler or Network Monitor to see if you can capture any network traffic that might show what's going on.
Download the version that matches the .NET version you are using.
Configure the Fiddler options to match below. If you don't the capture will be encrypted and not contain as much viewable data.
When you are ready to reproduce the issue, restart Fiddler and the capture will begin automatically.
After the issue has been reproduced, click on File, Save, All sessions….
