Exchange 2016 auto accepting room bookings

Hi guys! (I've just joined)

I have Exchange 2016 CU3 running and when users booking meeting room resources  the auto accept response as well as updating the calendar takes between 7 to 15 minutes. Delivery times for mail seem fine so I'm not sure its network related.

I'm really stuck as to where to start to trouble shoot this.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Leon

Have you tried creating a new instance and seeing if this still happens?  Make a few test appointments and see if the slowness still occurs.

Hi, thanks for the response. I've tried to make a number of test appointments with 5 different rooms and experience the same issues with all. I built the server a few months ago and upgraded to CU3 Tuesday.
I'm not sure what you mean by creating a new instance?

Thanks

You have a separate calendar for each room, if I'm understanding correctly.  If you create a new calendar post upgrade, do you experience the same issue with delay?

So I created a new room and it accepted my calendar invite within 20 seconds! So it looks like rooms migrated from Exchange 2010 and new rooms created in Exchange 2016 prior to the CU3 update take up to 15 minutes to approve. It's a strange one and I created the new room just now exactly the same as thr other new rooms in Exchange 2016..

Thoughts?
thanks.

I haven't found a solution for the problem of the migrated calendars being slow unfortunately apart from recreating them.  Recreation may be your best bet if feasible.

Re-creating the meeting rooms was the quickest thing to do although not ideal but needed a quick fix for this.
thanks
