Android Sat Nav Apps No Voice Instructions

I have just bought a Bluboo XTouch smart phone running Android 5.1.

I have tried 3 different Sat Nav apps (from TomTom, Sygic and Google) and they all suffer the same strange issue...

For each app I hear only the very first voice instruction for the very first journey. After that, complete silence!

I have uninstalled and re-installed each app several times and restarted the phone many times. None of this helps.

Is this something wrong with Android or my particular phone?

It seems to me that your text-to-speech options is corrupted.

Remove all Sat Mar apps and restart phone.

Goto Settings -> Languages and inputs

Look for text-to-speech options and post back what you see and test whether you can hear the sample

If there is problem, goto Application manager and look for Google Text-to-speech option and clear cache under storage.

Finally, install only one Sat Nav app only and do a test.

Do not install multiple app and one app will interfere with another.

Wow, thank you! It now works correctly.

I didn't have to uninstall any apps - just clearing the text-to-speech cache did the trick.
