Its only happened once - Im not 100% convinced its not user error at the moment. But no, not tried that yet. Is there any indication that its this or is it a case of try it and see what happens?

Logon to owa and see whether the deleted items are in the recycle bin there.<br />
<br />
Also check whether the user is using cached Exchange mode or online mode.
