Event ID: 7023 / Source: Service Control Manager
Hi
We are troubleshooting Event Log errors and warnings from a customer. I have to fix this so quickly as possible. The customer is having Windows 10 Enterprise Anniversary update (10.0.14393 Build 14393) and Server 2012 R2 (Domain level 2003).
Log Name: System
Source: Service Control Manager
Date: 31/10/2016 08:30:57
Event ID: 7023
Task Category: None
Level: Error
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer: Testpc
Description:
The description for Event ID 7023 from source Service Control Manager cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
Question 1: Is this error related to Group Policy (GPO's)?
Question 2: How can I fix this error under Windows 10?
Many thanks in advance
