We are building a Branch Cache server for a number of functions in a low bandwidth branch. &nbsp;Before we deploy the environment down in that location. &nbsp;On our main site we are setting up a SCCM DP so we can push packages locally before the server resides in the branch location. &nbsp;Now management is asking me they want to use the Branch Cache server for use of the SCCM DP. &nbsp;I am fairly new to Branch Cache server, but I am curious if that is possible? &nbsp;How does the branch cache server work for SCCM Packages, etc? &nbsp;Do we even need it for SCCM DP, since SCCM does a good job of throttling. &nbsp;Kind of lost here, but want to ask questions here before I go to the person building the branch cache server. &nbsp;Do I have to ask more questions on the design of branch cache?

SCCM And Branchcache Server

Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Server 2012 is the first version of Windows Server to have no support for Itanium-based computers since Windows NT 4.0. Windows Server 2012, now in its second release (Windows Server 2012 Release 2) includes Foundation, Essentials, Standard and Datacenter, and does not support IA-32 or IA-64 processors.
